Wed, Jan 18, 2017 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Lifelong Learning Academy of Walsh University will present, “Letters from Prison” on January 18 at 7:00pm in the Barrette Business and Community Center. Dr. Bradley Beach, Associate Professor of Philosophy, will share his immersion into an often neglected genre of literature: the communications of the incarcerated. The lecture will focus the questions: What can we learn from the incarcerated? What are the lessons to learn about character? Forgiveness? Reconciliation? Spiritual formation?

Lifelong Learning Academy programs are open to the public without charge and participants can earn recognition for hours of study. Reservations are not required. For more information, contact Rabbi John Spitzer at jspitzer@walsh.edu or by calling 330.244.4734.
