  • Wed, Feb 1, 2017 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
The Lifelong Learning Academy of Walsh University will host a two-week program, “Small Tables: Interfaith Dialogue” on February 1 and 8 at 7:00pm in the Barrette Business and Community Center. These evenings will be an intimate opportunity for Jews, Christians and Muslims to speak and listen to each other. Join us at tables of six to eight, where members of the Abrahamic community can speak and listen to each other about what makes our particular faith special to us, our challenges and our texts. Guided conversations will allow for true interfaith dialogue. Dr. Chris Seeman, Associate Professor of Theology, Rabbi Jon Adland of Temple Israel in Canton, and Imam Jaffar Juma will facilitate discussion on experiences and sacred scripture during the two-week program.

Lifelong Learning Academy programs are open to the public without charge and participants can earn recognition for hours of study. Reservations are not required. For more information, contact Rabbi John Spitzer at jspitzer@walsh.edu or by calling 330.244.4734.
